One Skill Retake (OSR)
IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR) is a new feature designed to help you get your desired test score without retaking the full test. If you want to improve your score on one test skill, you can retake any of the four IELTS skills – Listening, Reading, Writing, or Speaking.
You are eligible if you have recently completed a full IELTS on computer test and received your results from a test centre that offers OSR. You may retake only one skill once per original test, and it must be booked within 60 days of your original test date. To book, simply log into your Test Taker Portal where you will see your IELTS results and click the ‘Retake’ button for the skill you want to improve, or contact the CANESL main centre for booking assistance. The applicable OSR fee will be confirmed at the time of booking, and you must complete and submit the OSR Request Form available on our website.
